Dear Canadian Desi Friends

Namaste. I understand that Permanent Residents of Canada can work on H-1 Visa in USA by staying near to USA/Canada border. These PRs of canada(with H-1B visa) resides in Canada near to USA border so that they will maintain 2/5 year rule to keep their PR status in canada.

My question to all friends is:

1.What are the potential USA/Canada border areas, where IT jobs available in USA?

2. Is there any PR's of canada working in USA in IT jobs with H-1B visa and still residing in Canada AND travels every DAY to USA for his/her job? What are your experiences. Please share.

There are no Border Jobs as such. You can try to get a job in towns like buffalo, detroit or seattle and try to commute to work from canada everyday .

Commuting everyday will ensure that your PR and citizenship is maintained while making US $ but paying cdn taxes .

you have to pay taxes in usa as well as your employer will give you check after deductions....

Right , I mean the cdn tax rate overall on the salary
