Rajnikanths recent tamil movie \"Chandramukhi\" is creating records all over the world. It was made at a budget of Rs.30 Crores, and has been estimated to have earned Rs.100 Crores in the first 30 days of release. It was released in USA, Europe and around 30 prints in Japan.
Rajnikanths earnings in this movie is estimated to be Rs.30 Crores(not salary, but share of profits) making him the highest paid actor in Indian Cinema, breaking the record of Chiranjeevi for his movie \"Tagore\".
The real news is that this movie is a remake of a Kannada movie called \"Apta Mitra\" and that movie has been made inspired on a malayalam movie made a decade ago.
Today both Apta mitra and Chandramukhi are running full houses in Karnataka!
Indeed Rajnikanth is the superstar of Indian Cinema!

Super Star or Super man? I saw some of his cheesy flicks where he performed stunts that would make ol' Issac squirm in his grave. It is only in Hindi Cinema that the laws of physics are ignored with an almost obnoxious flare.
