I once made a mistake, but I was wrong about it.
I used to work with a few very nice people from the Eastern parts. The impression I got was that the people in the East are very friendly.

Thats what I heard too. Nova Scotians are supposed to very hospitable people.
They drink a lot too.

1. PEI, Nova Scotia , New Brunswik etc are good and scenic.
2. Not much Indian( Asian) population ( But are you looking to leave India to come to a place like India- Toronto)
3. I do not know of Unemployment rate but the competition is definitely less than in Toronto
4. Cost of living is cheaper compared to Toronto
5. It is very far from TOronto

I am in NS and I dont believe a word of what nutty is saying. we moved to NS last Dec to a small town and started our own business. Every person in the community has helped us out . they have spread the word around. they have made sure they bought from us instead of from a big store. they have sent hundreds of emails. they are all white ppl. they have come and helped around when my husband had to go ourt of town. We have been invited to their homes. the local MP came to our home for dinner . these people didnt have to do all this. there is no racism at all in the province. there may be lack of jobs but no body asks for " canadian experience " as they do in toronto. they have a special minister who is working on inviting ppl as immigrants . it is difficult to get jobs but that is so for everyone.
