Due to negative views i am hesistant to come to Canada i already have my Permanent residence visa. However i want to know job opportunities for accountants i am from south africa i have degree's from south Africa i would appreciate your help if you could shed some light.

And let me kill the big discussions (whining) about jobs or the lack thereof. Canadians of every kind, including Indians, are capable of producing the GDP of this country. Canada may have a shrinking population and the old age security system may be in jeopardy, but like most other western nations, we will deal with it when the time comes. We do not need immigrants to come and work here. If that is your aim in life viz. \\\"Go to Canada, get a job and make millions\\\", then no one needs you! Exception is your fellow Desi employer looking to hire cheap PhDs for the fun of it.
Canada gives out immigrant visas to people who will come and make a new life for themselves. There are people in the world living in war torn countries, in famine ridden nations and just plain human suffering that need that place you have taken. They appriciate the opportunity. They come with one expectation, one dream, to have the opportunity to live a normal life. To work hard, and to give their children the opportunity to be somebody, to be something. So stop whining, work hard at whatever you can.
Can the whiners understand that?
And one last word for Dosa - Canada sucks, opportunities suck (esp for accountants) but life here is still better than Mozambique. LIFE, I said, not jobs. That is what immigrant visas are for, as opposed to temporary work visas.

Sure , why wont they appreciate? Since in comparison to what they were and the situation ther were in (persecuation etc...) Canada would be a heaven. Any job would be just fine.
I am sure someone will chip in with actual numbers..how many refugees vs non refugees enter Canada as immigrants.
