Hi Jughead,

Please keep us posted on how it goes with your stay and everything in Burnaby. You see, this is one of the best things happening in Canada: moving out of crowded centres and scattering out. The concentration of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver has to end, we need to spread and I thing this is so neat! I am sure I sound too bookish but believe me it will be such a great idea. The reason why US today is so good economically is because it has scattered all its centres adding the advantage of space and resources backing up by creating markets by having people settle in. I am of the opinion that centres such as Okanagan, Abbotsford, Burnanby, Nanaimo and Victoria should grow, ditto goes for all other provinces.

So do share with us how you found the place, what you liked/disliked about it and how different is it from the bigger places like Toronto or Vancouver. How penetrated are the consumer choices there etc etc.

I hope I am not asking for too much??? Just want everyone to benefit out of Canadiandesis being observant, that's all!!

Hi me2canada,

I agree with you about spreading out. Will keep you posted on my views of the place, comparing with Toronto, New York, New Jersey etc! Have been in the east coast all along, so am excited about going west!

Hi Jughead,

I live in Surrey but from my knowledge of the Metrotown area..I would advise you to be careful about wandering out at night or after dark alone. Drive if you must go around.

Guys

We had a Canadian Desi meeting for Vancouver people last year and not many people turned up. It is nice that the CD members in BC are increasing . Since a lot of members are moving to BC and are in BC , Lets meet some day and have a CD meeting .

Any Suggestions ?
