Just heard on the radio that this month, most of the visitors to Toronto Food Banks were immigrants who are classified as "highly trained". The saga continues...

Whattt?? That s so unbelievable!!!

I saw that too. This might comfort some but when i looked at the breakup of people who use the bank (which happened to be in a newspaper) indians were not listed as a community who use them at all.

There were primarily other nationalities like south american. Either way its shocking that qualified individuals who were doing good jobs are resorting to living in shelters and food bank.

I hope most of the site users know the terms 'Native Indians' or 'East Indians'. East Indians are the ones who belong to country named India. And sometimes it becomes very confusing, which Indian is talked about.
