[Please refer the camel and arab story . We always need what we dont have. What we get in india are not available in Canada and the reverse is equally true.]
So what is new about it. We all know that.
Iam talking about central idea
I think slaries stagnate when we come abroad as compared 2 India. In India with in 10 years in the right sector ur salary more than doubles .
We come abroad and though r experience grows we remain @ more or less the same level of salary . Getting a salary around 50 k is not very diffult in Indian metros today .
Manasvi.
Not only the salaries but your position also remains stagnant most of the time.
However, in india the things are now a days becoming very very competitive. You need to be best among the best to get good growth and promotion.
Though you get a job in your related field in India but still it is very tough to work in that environment as lots of competition, peer pressure and ofcourse politics.
But still i would prefer that rather than doing the labor job here and just survive and having hand to mouth situation.
Here a labourer will always remain a labourer ( if and only if they study and lucky to get into some other field where there is growth). But in India if you are in your field you are bound to see growth / promotion in your career over a period of time which will be much more satisfying. Even though your earning may be less than what a labourer earns here.
I am no way going to sacrifise my qualification and change the line to stay in this country and get citizenship. I came here to get better value to my life and career.
Instead of fighting to survive here and work as Labourer, i would better fight and try to compete with the best of talents out in India.

Well said! I totally agree.
Upon seeing a lot of comparisons b/w Indian sals and here and the vs things , I am prompted to bounce this once 17 paged evergreen thread ...
Enjoy ....

Fido.
india is good, booming tons of jobs but no water and electricity. these are some of the things you cannot even buy with money. work politics sucks and pollution is bad. you get money in india that is sure but life seems too unorganised. canada has exactly opposite pluses and minuses. equation is too complex. i personally feel u cannot spend what u earn in your lifetime if you spend wisely.
