Unchecked statistics .
Roughly 70% people in India except the metros live in 15 to 20 k -- whats wrong in that ? in a small B city rent for a 2brhk wud be say 5k , other living expenses <=10 k for a family of 4 .............. and the surprising part is ---Canada is not on their horzon and they lead a blissfull life too!!
Notwithstanding the dirt and pollution India is cheap too . Thats the advantage of being rich in b/w the have nots . A excellent doc just charges u INR 200 for a consultation and no waiting. U get 2 eat the best of goodies at dirt cheap prices either by the road side or even inside ... how about that ?? U have the town painted red on a Diwali or a Holi . Plus so many holidays --- 1/2 evry month .......cmon these r advantages too .
But that s besides the thread ......these things come gratis when u r in India dont they ??

Manasvi,
Let me answer your question. Currently I am getting 9 lakh per annual as my CTC. Got offer from a bang lore firm for 13 lakh. Still I will not like to live in India.
A healthy human development environment with abundance of gift from nature in terms of air , water & land is what life should be all about. You just cannot get that thing in India. Canada can provide so. Just look at the life expectancy of people abroad compare to India. 60-year peoples Canadians looks like 40 years old.
Just check the gloom in their faces of people living in Canada. In no terms you can equate money with this thing.
What more , I have seen my own maternal aunts living in Canada for more than 35 years. Her face is just like my mother’s. But their mark difference in the health & personality of both.

Thanks Infocan and Moreno,
Aptly said Infocan but the q is --- if everything is so good n healthy there than y is every 3 rd person cribbing ? Prob as sm1 stated ---Kisi ko muqammal jahaan nahin milta ---' kisi ko zameen kisi ko aasmaan nahin milta '
Moreno, cost of living for an average Indian and cost of living for a returning NRI r mutually exclusive . A person who hasnt tasted a good infrastructure doesnt long for it . As they say Ignorance is Bliss.
The thread is coming fine thanks 2 every1 . For an Indian who wishes 2 c himself in Canada may also wish 2 hear from those already present how much willing / unwilling r they 2 come back .
