What the papers won't tell?
Since ages the media has been a quite spectator to bollywood tantrums and
the pecular and secret lifestyles of the glitterite. This has put the life of
the common man in jeopardy due to constant comparisions and excitement over
'bollywood'gossips and issues,not realising their own'disorientation'!
These issues have even raked during elections, but the common man has just
ignored them.
Kudos to Rajat Sharma and his IndianTV team for 'celebrity bashing' with
shakti 'cleaning' some unkempt stuff from the closet.

I pity Shakti Kapoor's luck! Rajat Sharma could have trapped any filmi guy (of course...the \"good and decent !!!!\" exceptions apart)! If we go by likely ratios,I feel that hardly 10% of the industry would be clean and would never have indulged in \"casting couch adventures\".
I guess Shakti Kapoor became a victim of his own image. Form the journalist's point of view, his \"story\" would carry more conviction if he traps Shakti Kapoor, rather than an Amir Khan!
This was a trap laid specifically for catching an actor on the wrong foot....the whole thing was \"setup\" by the journalists. It would have made more sense if these journalists had exposed some real and actual cases of casting couch practices ....a la Madhur Bhandarkar. Shakti Kapoor claimed on NDTV that he was being approached for last 3 months and he finally gave in (who minds a free ride ....and he paid heavily for it ) This was not a case where Shakti blackmailed a budding actress into a deal. Poor Shakti....he never realised that there ar no free lunches!

Shakti's response!
