What happened to the background checks in this country when we entered and had to get FBI Clearance and all the other clearance. Why is this person allowed in this place then ?

This country has double standards for everything ...... just like .... if you go by the book and apply for an imigration visa ... they give you a wait time for 2 to 3 years ...... however if you take a visitor's visa and come here .... you can get the process going .....

I guess the discimination between the goose and gander applies here.

Same is true for India too. But can we expel these "Terrorist Organizations"? No! Simply because to do so would mean giving up our Secular policies. Canada is in the same boat. They can either try to be a Just and Open Society or they can start expelling all organizations that "could be" fronts for Terrorism.

America with its Patriot Act is fast becoming the Police state that we all fear. Thank God Canada hasn't chosen to go that route so far. The Fishing Net is quite unbiased; it will catch all kinds of fish ;) including you and me.

No country can deport its citizen. Having come in the 80s this guy Fateh Kamel must be a citizen of Canada. Now he is the liability of the Canadian Government. Legally, Canada is his home and motherland now. The most they can do is keep a close watch over him.

I think they can revoke his citizenship though. They did that recently for a Nazi, I think.

The questions that Political Scientists would ask is, will this be "Fair" Would they revoke the citizenship of a Native Born Canadian, if he were in the same position?
