Apparently, the UP cabinet had announced a cash award of Rs 500,000 and felicitations were planned by the President and Prime Minister!

........"there's a sucker born every minute".....

Unfortunately, this is neither the first nor the last of such incidents. Desis the world over (including on this site) are so desparate to see Indian success that they'd clutch at any straws that come their way.....any thoughts on this anyone?
