Hi,

Please advise which is the best university in Ontario State for undergraduate science - biochemistry.

My daugher has applied in the following universities and would like your comments for choosing a good university.

1. University of Toronto - Mississagua
2. McMaster
3. Queens
4. Waterloo
5. Guleph
6. U of Western Ontario
7. Ottawa University

I would request current students, past student or parents who have children studying for undergraduate science inthe above universities to give their advise.

Biochemistry is an undergraduate degree in science.
Biochemistry is not a first year program.
U take up biochem in ur second year.
First year courses are the same for all science students...
Only an elective could be different.
Now to get to the point, I would stay away from Waterloo, Univ of Guelph and Univ of Ottawa. These univs are not considered top universities.

Univ of Toronto (mississauga) is not as good as univ of toronto (St. George campus). U need a higher admission average to get into univ of toronto (St. George Campus). Queens, Western, McMaster and Univ of Toronto are equally good univs and it really wont matter if u do ur biochem from these universities.
I attend Univ of Western Ontario.
My program is Pharmacology and Toxicology.

hi ...i myself wud start my undergrad degree at mcmaster this yr.
mcmaster is particularly popular for its science programs and also health sciences.
also other gud ones are...univ of toronto,univ of westrern ontario,queens,univ of british columbia,mcgill.
anyone plannin to pursue medicine later do contact me!
