Another thing i would like to know i.e which city is the best for a IT professional. I am a lotus Domino Consultant here in dubai, Garvo you might be aware about the Lotus Market in Canada. Also, being an outsider i would be looking out for a place which is really cosmopolitan and where racial discrimination is not there, which place is the best from future prospect ...

There are four parts on Ontario (and Canada) are claiming as IT Capital of Canada.


1. Ottawa, Capital of Canada.
2. Markham, A town just north of Toronto (part of Greater Toronto Area)
3. Downtown Toronto
4. Kitchener/Waterloo

There are some late developments in other areas - notable one is Mississauga - West of Toronto (Part of GTA)

Since most of businesses are in Toronto, you should consider Toronto first.

I quickly went to a job site (http://english.monster.ca) and searched on lotus domino and found few listing, 50 percent of them were from Toronto.

You can also check with other sites like http://www.workopolis.com etc.
