Hello Guys;
just wanted to ask if you know of any other employment websites other than Monster and Workopolis. Most people tend to use these two, which means it's more difficult for applicants to get noticed. There's jobshark.ca, and net-temps.ca..Any others? I feel this would be very helpful to newcomers who need to get good information so they don't make mistakes others made. It's not difficult to get odd jobs here paying b/w $9 to $11/hr. However for people qualified it can be challenging getting their first job in their respective fields in Toronto. They need all the information they can get. Perhaps we should all share our knowledge of Employment websites which are not that well known, yet have many job postings. Perhaps regional websites. e.g. Yorkregion.ca sometimes has opportunities.
Thanks for all of you sharing ideas and thoughts.
One other I know of is dice.com.
Make sure you specifyy Canada as your country and select the city where you want to look for jobs.

Thanks guys..Any new websites will help..
To Garvo Gujerati ... I didn't even know we had this valuable link.. I think it would be great if we could all add any additional links that may come to mind on that page. Let's brainstorm and come up with sites. This is indeed very helpful..
Another site which just got my uncle the interview he wanted just last week is http://www.weapplforyou.com" rel="nofollow">LINK They send your resume and custom cover letter to field of your experience. Eg. He was out of job for 2 years in automotive sector. Theysent out 200 resumesi in one day in 2 days he got call from one of the biggest companies in the automotive sector.
The point is you should always ally to companies that would appriciate your experiece.
if you have worked in your profession for some years, this site has GTA jobs (and Canadian) -- linked directly to employers, mostly 'hidden' jobs not advertised in papers or jobsites.
http://www.careerladder.ca" rel="nofollow">LINK (Career Ladder).
Hope it helps.
