Hi! Guys

What are the income tax rates in Canada. I had come to know that there is a Provencial Tax and Federal Tax.

Is A Permanent Resident is supposed to pay both the taxes or one of them is charged after crossing some income limit. ?

Apart from Income tax, you have to shell Provincial Sales Tax PST (8% in Ontario) and Goods and Service Tax GST (7% fixed in all provinces(states)) This when you anything in the stores.

There is one more, Gasoline (Petrol) taxes.
