Hi everybody,
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out....You are not offering WORK. You are offering a BUSINESS PROPOSITION. You want to sell newspaper advertising space and you want partners. Too many of those offers are there (just see any newspaper) and they are a SCAM.
If you want people to respond to your ad offer them a minimum guaranteed wage (say $1000 / month) + commission. If you can't afford that you should not be doing business here.
Don't blame people for being skeptical.
Take exception to your post. Don't call something a SCAM uless you can show that it is a scam.
There is no free lunch! especially in SALES. Results speak loudest here than any other profession.
Nobody is going to give you guaranteed base unless you can show capability and a history of success with sales. Show your successful track record in sales (Real $$$ generated) and businesses will give you a decent base otherwise forget it, you are not worth a penny. Only people, who can not sell, are the ones demand a guaranteed base. Speak from the experience, I have gone through dozen of them.

Atleast s/he has guts to go out do something other than hanging out at CD complaining about the system.
