one more question if u guys can help can i give this exams from india????????? i working for Morgan stanley in india does my company have significant precense in the canadian capital market if u guys know some thing about this.

I think you cannot appear for the CSC exam in India.

Morgan Stanley does have a presence in Canada but not as strong as in India. To my knowledge they are concentrating more on research related to their investment banking business.

As I mentioned in my previous post, the Canadian capital market is one of the most regulated one in the world. As a result most of the investment banking business is controlled by the big 5 Canadian banks.

can my experience from indian company but foriegn exposure help me in getting a job in canada. as u said in the 5 leading banks.

Please do not embarrass me by "i am not annoying u by asking more and more questions???????". On the contrary I feel happy to be of some assistance.

The answer to your question is yes and no.

As you know to qualify* (pl see below for more on this) for a particular job you must have the matching skill set. Your Indian experience would certainly be given more weightage if you satisfy the 'other' skills. However, if you lack in 'other' skills then your earlier experience would come to a naught.

*in fact when a recruiter scans your Resume he looks for job-specific skill sets under the Qualification heading and not your educational qualification.

Hi

CSC can be given in Hongkong. CSI does offer a course on operations/back office. I think yours truely has perfectly summarize the players and situation here.
