We would be shortly moving to Canada from India. Can someone enlighten me on the following;

1. Though, Toronto seems to have more opportunities, but probably as much higher number of contenders seeking initial break. Do you think it would be a better idea to initially move to Alberta, say Edmonton and get lesser competition....i mean lesser per job seeker/ in smaller cities? Even the re-settlement costs should be lower.

2. What are the other possible trade off/s by making a choice as above?

ottawa_nerd seems to be too much filmi style. This forum should be clearly ment for discussions not for jokes. Anyone who asks for some help should be replied properly or just mention your inability but please no jokes in this style.

And Mr. Intransit.. I purposely posted the "joke" there to encourage Mr Scoripon to do a search on Charcha before posting such questions. That question has been asked and answered by users ad-infinitum on this forum. There are also rules laid out by the moderators about how & when one should post queries !

A few comments abt you Mr intransit..

If I am not mistaken you are also not reading Charcha carefully, else you would have read the post made by BL abt posting in the "Ask Immigration Expert" section ! I have directed this to the attention of the moderators also.. So be careful abt what you state, where you state and

you are senior desi doesn't mean you can say whatever you want. No one is perfect and has too much of time to check each and every section everyday. I know what is there in my gireban but I do not offend anyone by pointing to him. It would be better to advice if someone is not doing correct thing so that he may correct his mistake rather than just be offensive. Take care and be polite
