I have to say that I didnt expect to have messages welcoming me.
For what its worth, while reading through some of the posts I suddenly became aware of how intelligent and intuitive people posting these messages are.
I have to say that I am one of those "snobbish" types that wants to believe the worst in Desi's (due to bad experiences). This is definitely an eye opening experience for me. One for which I hope I am a better person.

I , myself , moved from US ( from h1-b visa) to canadian immigrant in November 2000.
I found the job here within one week( although i had four interviews for the same job), I guess i had US experience.
but that was November 2000. But after 2002, I tried so many times, but can not succeed.Today I still fortunately have my same old job.
I stronly waiting for November 2003 , so that I apply canadian Citizenship & again will explore the 300 Million people country, I am tired of canadian 4 miliion people toronto industry( YAh ... i know there are 30 Million people).

I for one am so happy that my mom persevered in her quest to attain canadian citizenship. Although this meant that they - my parents, have had a difficult time adjusting to Canadian life I am lucky to benefit from their sacrifices.
So to all the selfless parents out there !
This world is a better place because of people like you

Of all the IT people immigrating to Canada, Indian IT personnel have the worst ethics, worst professional standards, the worst documentation skills, who cannot design/architect anything and who mis-represent their experience the most. A 10-15 min talk can reveal all the fraudulent experience out. I have talked, met numerous IT personnel from india and interacted with them. No wonder indian IT personnel struggle here in Canada. I am extremely careful in hiring indian IT folks for myself or for my clients.
