What is the best school district area in GTA to buy a house.?
Is there any web site to show the best schools in GTA area.?
Thanks.
Best school districts can be found out in any city/region. Here are the steps that one should follow in order to find a home in a good school district:
1. Based upon your job or place of work choose a city you would live in.
2. Once you have chosen a city then start looking at the school districts of that city.
3. Once you have selected a good school district, finding a home in that area is easy and your Realtor will take care of the rest.
In order to find out the best schools within a region one may take the following steps:
A. Visit the websites of various school boards, e.g. Toronto, Peel and Halton region school boards.
B. Find out the EQAO (The Education Quality and Accountability) scores of the schools.
C. Find out ratio of scholars to the total number of students of the school in any given year.
D. View school report cards; published by Fraser Institute.
E. Visit the Ontario Parents Council.

Thanks Amit for the info.
Actually I work in Downtown Toronto. Right now I rent apt in downtown. I want to buy house and move out of downtown.
I'm new to GTA area and I dont mind commuting to downtown for work.
I also want to move out to any of suburb area unless it is one of the good school district areas to buy a house..
I prefer Richmond Hill as I see it is somewhat convenient to commute to downtown. Is it a nice locality to buy a house..? Any new homes coming up in that area..??
Can anybody throw some ideas on this.
Thanks in advance....
