With so many phone conpanies and choices out there , i never bothered to change from primus.
When Relaince offer came i figured it is another such a scheme.
But when i tried i changed , not just because it is has better rates , but Reliance is a 100% indian company employing indians back home and paying taxes in india. Whenever i call their customer service i get to speak to hindi speaking person in india. for me it is a reason to give my business to such a company.
And i am very happy i changed to Reliance.

What can be imagined, can be achieved.
Ok friends, Reliance is good in call quality #1, dont compare with calling cards.
but the catch Reliance rounds of to the next min ie they charge you 16.9x1.15=19.43 cents including tax.
One min rounding? or how it effects us
1.If you make one call to all major cities
you get 30 min-reliance - cometion(callingcards etc) 45 min-$4.00
2. If you make multiple calls say 5 calls on average to remote towns or villages
20 min through reliance - due to one min rounding you will basicaly loose 10 min or in other words 35% of card value is lost. so u r basically paying 26.4 cents.
calling cards - max only one call or max 2 calls based on the lenth of call
So in canada so far primus is better- because they have 6 second roundingfor 19.5 cents and is the best offer so far for multiple call users.
in canada.
Reliance- they can be best only if they drop their price to 11.9 cents canadian , for all types of calls to all users users all across india. Until then reliance is useless.
Guys,
Reliance now lowered their rate and now offering @ $13.9C per minute

I know there are some who swear by Primus but somehow I was never satisfied with Primus connection quality. It was very poor most of the times. So, although it was a post paid service I started using G3 because it had an excellent quality. Now with Reliance I jumped on to it immediately. Taling on Reliance is like Real Time conversation as opposed to Primus where there is a gap of a second or two before the other person hears what you say. That's my experience though. Now since Reliance has reduced the rates I am sure it's rates looks more attractive.

Daks
