We just bought a condo.Since my husband is not living here for the time being i had to get a power of attorney for all the paper work to be done.The power of attorney was made common to be used for anything in the absence of my husband.The lawyer has given me the copy and has kept the original with him.He said they have to retain the original and give me a copy.Is this ok .Please let me know.Thanks.
