Can i sponsor my sister or brother
|
Dear friends,
Got a basic question. I am a Canadian citizen. Can I apply immigration on behalf of my sister or brother. Is there any provision in the CIC laws.
Also how about parents. I have heard about super visa, does it allow me to have my parents here in Canada as permanent residents and later they can be Canadian citizens too !
Appreciate a quick response.

There are other means and ways of getting your siblings in. We are here to help
If your Brother or Sister are as qualified as you are and obtain the score of 449 or over, some draws it is even lower, your help here within Canada will give them additional points. Also, when the Provincial Government announces their requirements for Man power, you can help them get into that Province with PNP program and provide them with the best assistance for them to get in and settle down with EASE.
In the First Week of January of each year they open up the Parents ans Grand Parents Sponsorship. Watch out for the announcement. It is slightly based on a LOTTERY system. You can apply for their entry at that time. You have a few weeks to prepare for it and get the papers ready. When they announce, be quick to file in their application. If selected through the lottery, you win.
Good Luck.
FH.
There are other means of getting them in.

For parents, its not the super visa that you are talking about. Do you think super visa is more time taking and complicated procedure than the lottery method.
Also through this lottery, would they be eligible for PR.
For sis/bro, you are saying that they got to apply on their own based upon their qualification / experience. There is nothing like blood relation immigration, as happens in US.

Admin,
It seems highly unethical for an advertising company to force their way into a personal thread. Please remove all whatever is posted by honeysoftsolutions and direct them to the appropriate section.
Thanks

Canadian Immigration is unique and worth getting to know more about it.
Super Visa is a step in the right direction. While the Parents/Grand Parents are with you you can sponsor them from with in also. If you do qualify to sponsor, after Three years of you obtaining your NOA from Revenue Canada, you can do that also. They have placed a few hoops and a few loops that you must jump through to complete the process.
These are the two that I know. I can provide you with the links for applying too.
As regards BRO/SIS, there is just a minimal support system is the only thing you could provide for them as points for their entry in their application and your financial support for entry their travel and settlement here and only after their entry into Canada. That again is through the EXRESS ENTRY.
BUT., There are PNP Provincial Nominee Programs that can be utilised when a suitable opening gets announced in a profession that they are qualified for and the Province is seeking applicants for such a post. You have to do the matching and the search for that category. No blood related immigration as mentioned by you.
Hope this helps you and gets started.
FH.
