Good cars has nothing to do with it. People in debt can also easily lease or finance a good car in Canada. And one day the house of cards collapses.
The guy who buys the Toyota Corolla in cash is actually better off, than the guy who leases a BMW to show off, he is basically just renting, not owning the BMW or Mercedes.
Religious places like Gurudwaras and temples are tax exempt in Canada. So like the rest of the businesses they don't pay 50 % taxes. Also the people who work there are volunteers and not paid. Religion and place of worship is good business in Canada.
Now if your business was tax exempt, you got free workers ( volunteers ), wouldn't you also do well ?

That's a big misconception. Majority of the kitchen staff is hired in Gurdwaras and Mandirs, but they don't stop people from volunteering as well. The Pujaris et all are all paid staff. I agree that they get the tax breaks, but you must also look at their income as well - the income that they earn by way of donations from the society, people like you and me (I don't donate though
)

They hardly have any paid staff and whatever they have are on minimum wage. Rest all are volunteers.
I don't donate either. Lot of the Gurudwaras I have been to had " Khalistan Zindabad " slogans written right inside on the walls. Now, why would I want to donate to such traitors of our great motherland India ?
The infamous Air-India bombing was carried by these guys from Canada.
Plus its a well known fact that lot of funding for the Khalistani terrorist and movement in India came from these Gurudwaras in Canada.
Also the UK & US, Gurudwaras were involved

Wo..wo..wo.... watch out. That's a very sensitive topic. Let's not go there. Besides, it's going totally off track from the op's post.
You totally missed Delhite's point which febpreet tried to explain again. I won't even attempt to do that.
Let's get back on track.
BTW, Welcome aboard pendse
