People = AAPians in above post, I suppose.

This is no surprise. However, what most polls, commentators, analysts and political pundits forget is that the Modi Government always sets itself extremely tough targets in terms of objectives and timelines and generally beat them. No other Government ever set itself such ambitious and tough targets. That is where Modi Government deserves extra marks. From bank accounts for the poor, to implementing OROP, to demonetisation to management of the economy and GST, it has been spectecular to say the least. Previous Governments had plenty of time to do all of these things, but then they had other considerations that were more important, mostly self preservation.
On the foreign policy front, both China and pakistan have been left wondering whatever next. They are lost, and that is how it should be.
More good things will come. If PM Modi gets another term India will be put on a different trejactory of growth, which takes us to 8% to 10%.

No doubt Modi's team is good, better than what MMS got and this team is under pressure to perform. Issue here is positives of the govt. being overridden by too many negatives and too much of mud slinging between parties. The main reason parties lose elections are inflation, employment, lack of leadership and if corruptions gets published. Current govt., may be doing good with the digital & non digital infrastructure which tangibly benefits corporate houses than to the middle classes and farmers, but there is dismal performance towards stemming the inflation, gas prices, creating jobs for youth barring some manrega type schemes. In my view the continued communal divide will be a killer for Modi Govt. . Only thing in favor of the current govt. is and will be for some time to come - No one strong standing opposite to them. Perhaps that is the reason behind the arrogance and incidents of mob lynching by the new born nationalists.

LoL , Bengal is still under hangover of 34 years rule of communists. Didi can do as much. But 2 good things about her one she stopped the bandhs (work strikes) and two she herself is incorruptible. Of course Bengal needs better administration , but then there is no body visibly capable in that region. Kee Kaurbey ?

She pleased the minority .. lot of and i mean lot of illegal bangla minority ( muslim) , she keep them safe... imam threaten gov of India about sharia law and cleanse up of Hindu's and threaten to make Muslim country - that too under didi watch.

Hindu ritual has been stopped and sant/sahdu/devotees has been beaten up by local police - that's ur didi.

come on ... let me be blunt ... i m proud of modi... he is the one and only one can protect Hindu along with development...

Let me be more blunt... i wish BJP stay another term with full majority and declare India , Hindustan. HINDU STATE ...

you want me to go on and on ? i can ...

like it or not .. modi/rss is gift for india ( Hindustan) -

So stop being double standard, make your mind, either u r with minority ( Muslim ) or you are with Hindu rashtra ?

There are number of surveys, on questions like leadership - Modi is miles ahead of the competition. And that is not a surprise. He has changed India's political narrative forever.

Those who understand that India have changed and aspirations of her people have changed, will only survive in future.

The distance between Modi's popularity with respect to the deck, is heavily skewed in favor of Modi when it comes to people under the age of 35. That means, once the older generation who still thinks in terms of casts, community or traditional way of supporting a party or person goes away, with each coming election Modi is going to be stronger and stronger.

A traditional way of doing politics:
1) Bashing current government irrespective of any rational behind such opposition
2) Keep doing minority appeasement. (Keep using secular word)
3) Keep doing dynastic politics irrespective of political capabilities of the person (Yadavs, Thakares, Gandhis, Mamta-Abhishek, Karunanidhi etc...)
4) Keep doing corruption and defending it with accusation of political vendetta
5) Keep talking about united opposition front, doing political alignments just to defeat Modi.

Good days are indeed ahead.
