Hi,
Request for clarification. My family and myself have a PR Visa of Canada. When I applied, I was the primary applicant. However, I am doing a good job here back in India and I want only my child to take the citizenship of Canada (he studies in Canadian university). If I lose my PR status (as I don't want to leave my job in India) being the primary applicant but my family stays in Canada, I hope they don't lose their right to take Canadian citizenship of Canada after 3 years as they are in Canada itself. I am hoping that I being the primary applicant but not being in Canada does not affect their citizenship process.
Please correct my understanding here.
Thanks,
Yogesh
Can someone please reply Yogesh...

Your staying in India / losing PR status has nothing to do with the other members of your family. They can citizenship once they become eligible.
