What are the best furniture stores in and around GTA ?
Looking out for sofa set and dining table for new house
Leons is preferred over Brick as they carry better quality and variety.
Laz boy and Arrows are reasonable too .
Drive on Kenneday road Scarborough ( south of Ellesmere ) and you will find hundred of stores on both sides of street.

Costco carry good furniture's too. Sometimes they come on sale. The challenge is to make a decision to buy without even trying it out. I bought bedroom set from Costco, no issue. The advantage is peace of mind knowing that you can return items if you are unsatisfied and Costco will come pick it up if the item includes white-glove delivery.
For sofas, I went with Arrow furniture, one was good, the other set had quality issues. Customer service is non-existent in Arrow furniture, so not very happy with the situation. Leons might be better in the customer service department.
I guess sometimes its good to pay a premium for added peace of mind
Thanks so much

A friend who has recently furnished his house with solid wood furniture mentioned some closeout king related furniture shop in Scarborough.
Also you may want to check out a store @ Keele & Lawrence .. not sure of the name but used to see their flyer in '24hrs' daily.
Likewise mysleepfurniture dot com also has reasonable prices and reviews .
And then there's IKEA .. though dubious reputation for non durable products , some of them may match your requirement as sturdy and durable ... worth a visit any way ...
