Recently, muslim league leader Owaisi was seen roaring in a meeting that he would not say the slogan "Bharat Mata ki Jai even if a knife was kept on his neck".
The reason was it was against his religious beliefs. He is perfectly right in following his religion in a democratic country like India. But why he did he claim "even if a knife was placed against his neck".
Hinduism and other sub-continental religions would never threaten anybody at knife point to change their religious beliefs.

I found the link that Rajgopal shared answering my qs quite a bit ...
I have not read the Koran or the Hadiths or the Sunnahs but IF it is true that it dispenses the belief that setting up of a Muslim Caliphate is every Muslim's intrinsic duty to the extent of sacrificing themselves and emigrating to the Caliphate when one is established .....
It is hardly surprising that if such are the teachings ( common interpretations of such teachings) then it would be easy to radicalize any religious Muslim soul sitting far away in a remote world via internet ....
ISIL just needs to point them to the relevant hadith or sunnah and the job is catalyzed ....
Does peace in Islam mean when every one obeys the Shariah and if some one disagrees with the Shariah , is he to be persecuted ???
If this is true then there appear to be little solution in times to come .... Can education in mosques / Imams help ?

Fido.
Creator of the problem cannot be the resolver.
Religious radical-isation is unresolvable problem created by humans, so lets say only God can solve this. :-) Clearly, it will be never resolved. Little prevention here and there is only way. Future generations will have to live with this problem. Best will be to teach your kids to be neutral than joining one of the group and be part of the problem. But most of us parents will continue to contribute to the issue and will die criminals.
All those who believe in worshiping God in idol form are said to be "Kafirs". Over the last 1000 years, in the sub-continent, "knives were placed against the neck" of these Kafirs, and were asked to mend their ways. Unfortunately, the great grand children of these victims are themselves speaking in the same vein.
A decade ago there was propounding of the new concept of "Muslim Indian", instead of "Indian Muslim". That is, people belonging to the religion are muslims first and their country comes only next. But after 9/11, fearing that it may jeopardize their visa prospects this talk by fundamentalists has gone underground, but still exists.
