Cities near TO

I would like to know the cost of living (rental for furnished 1 BR with utilities, transportation, food, etc) and the job prospects (not labour jobs) in the cities that are within 1,1-1/2 hr. commuting distance from TO.

I am NOT talking about GTA.

Can you please include the name of the cities?

Burlington, Bratford, Barrie, Oshawa, Hamilton, and there are tons of others.

The best way is to look at yahoo maps http://maps.yahoo.ca and type any of above city name. You will see what is in the surroundings.

One more thing - since you mentioned commuting distance - you should conside travelling within GTA itself, as many of us commute 45 minutes to 1.25 hours one way, which staying and working in GTA.

I haven't lived in all those cities. No Idea. You can get almost all information on Internet. Try finding yourself. If you do get some information (I am sure you will) please post your results here.
