Don't really know the in depth details ... based on what I hear on the 5 minutes news on the radio ....

But apparently it started with CBI raiding AAP Delhi Office ...

AAP claimed they were looking for some files related to Jaitley.

Kirti Azad a BJP er , supported the alleged wrong doing / corruption against Jaitley.

BJP expelled Kirti Azad ..

Kirti Azad commented .... Aage aage dekho hota hai kyaa !!!

Senior BJP leaders in a huddle .....

What do you think ? Is Jaitley being wrongly accused or are the llegations correct ???

It's a known fact that SS never liked Jaitley, and just furthering his own interests by way of supporting Kirti. I don't think anything would ever come out, with Jaitley is in close proximity to Modi and Co, and enjoys the support system at his disposal.

I think, instead of all this noise, a valid evidence of wrong doings must come out, and be presented. In the absence of which, it's all fog, which will be cleared in no time. Jaitley is quite a brainer, shrewd, over ambitious, and above all an eminent/smart Lawyer. He knows the tricks of the trade, and holding the high office with second in command.

So, in a nutshell, stop making noises, bring forth the evidence that could be submitted in the investigation. Whether or not, Jaitley should resign, is open to everyone's own opine. This could be the interpretation of the Corporate Law by different parties or a biggest Ghotala, which could only be unfolded by the investigative agencies (lol...don't ask) and the Court.

If it had only been AAP, I would've got it, but since the murmurs have started been coming from all respectable quarters, i.e. Bedi, KPS Gill, Shatrughan Sinha (Support for Kirti), etc. that are independent of AAP, there sure is something 'Kala in the Daal'.

Many of the BJPians too never liked Jaitely. May be relatively he doesn't belong to BJP. But in that case Swamy too is an outsider.

It is also true that he was one of the earlier supporter of Idea of Modi as a PM. Not sure what is the state of relationship between him and Modi. Whatever it is - he is one of the leader who doesn't have his own support base. Just like Chidambaram and Man Mohan Singh. BJP will not loose anything by asking him to step down.

The only dilemma for BJP is, once it bows down to such pressure tactics by opposition, it may open up door for further dramas - right or wrong - by the joint circus of opposition.

Pandora box, I would say. BJP will not and never get rid of Jaitley, however cadre less he may be. After the Bihar debacle, and no sure signs of winning trumpets in UP, Punjab, or Bengal, this would bring Modi to the lower ground.

As for the circus, please do realize that BJP bhi kabhi Opposition thi, and you don't know 'kabhi hogi' in future. They did and will do the same circus and dramas as fittingly as you call it. That's the very nature of Indian Politicians, for they don't come in different sizes and colors.

Another BJPian Ram Jethmalani will appear for AK. Looks like Jaitley is getting more friends these days.

Jaitley must be immediately removed from the No.2 slot in the BJP. He should be allowed no more than Rajya Sabha MP status.

We have already seen in the form of Manmohan Singh what people with high IQ but poor or no EQ can cause damage to the interests of the nation.

A few days back, with all his London School of Economics and former PM credentials MMS could be seen endorsing the activities of the scam queen and her son.He was waiting at the court gate like a cab driver. He is only interested in the mother-son support but not that of the country and its people for his political life. This is very dangerous and portends very bad for the nation.

Same goes for Jaitley. His only credentials, unlike NaMo, is not about doing anything great for the country or its people, but bringing a queue of rich money bags for financing BJP's electoral battles. Money is important for BJP but not everything. Sooner or later, if it continues harboring Jaitley, BJP may become another Congress and himself another MMS.

India will be the loser ultimately.

India has first lost Congress to an Italian family. If it loses BJP too, can it survive as a nation?
