Who is not going to be against chasing the criminals and religious intolerants, But what is being advocated is very different, I don't need to be an einstein to figure it out.

When people say that nobody else can decide what food should be served in their plate, it is fine. But the best way to demonstrate their fundamental right would be from inside the Middle East countries, by eating pork in a public place and then face the wrath of the authorities. They do not have even the basic gratitude towards the people of India for their natural tolerance, in the face of insensitivity and illegality. They believe it is some mannequins that are responsible for protecting their religious rights.

Aamir khan is the latest to join the "Intolerance" bandwagon.
In Tamil Nadu during the last 10 years at least half a dozen district level BJP functionaries have been murdered in planned crimes (Even today we hear the news of a murder of a district level BJP office bearer from Ramanathapuram district which have a non-Hindu community as majority). They were not any ordinary politicians, but practicing chartered accountants or medical doctors. Unlike other states, BJP in TN is popular among educated middle class and above from the majority community. Later, when the police investigated they were able to zero in on muslim extremist outfits as the ones who had carried out the crimes. One of the investigating officers who went to apprehend the extremist was attacked severely and injured on his head and escaped near death.
We are proud to say that none belonging to minority parties, not only in TN but the entire South India have ever been attacked or hurt in any such manner. Imagine the whole country would have erupted like volcano if such incidents ever happen.
All the major political parties AIADMK, DMK and Congress who may constitute more than 90% MP or MLA seats and even the national english news media did not find anything "intolerant" about the whole series of murders of BJP workers. It is not to the advantage of these political parties for the BJP to grow in TN. But it is obvious that the english news media also gets funded for their biased reporting.
But it is surprising, how the educated intellectuals, writers or thinkers and creative artistes have a biased view on the whole issue. Is it because they themselves belong to minority community like SRK or AK or their spouses belong so.

Dear Aamir Khan,
In 2004, MF Hussain directed and released a movie titled Meenaxi, starring Tabu. A song in the movie, Noor-Un-Al, had a verse taken from the Qoran. The All-India Ulema council, Milli council, All India Muslim council, Raza academy, Jamiat-ul-Ulema-e-Hind, Jamat-e-Islami etc. protested against the movie, calling it blasphemous. In response, MF Hussain’s son said he his father had no intentions to offend anyone, and quietly withdrew the movie from theatres in just two days from its release. You haven’t spoken a word against the intolerance of the groups mentioned above.
When the movie Vishwaroopam was released, Muslims in Tamil Nadu protested, and agreed to allow the movie’s release only after certain scenes were cut. Vishwaroopam, stars Kamal Hassan, who on many occasions has mocked Hindu gods and Hindu practices, but in response to no other movie of his faced protests in Tamil Nadu. At the heat of the protest, you never spoke a word against the intolerance of the Muslim groups.
Movie adaptation of Da Vinci code, was severely protested by Christian groups, and was banned in Punjab, Goa, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. In other places, the movie was released with an ‘Adult’ certificate, despite the movie having no explicit scenes whatsoever. In addition, the censor board insisted that theatres carry a special 15 seconds disclaimer before and after the movie. Till now, you haven’t uttered a word against the intolerance of the Christian groups.
Ironically, when your movie PK was released, the Government of the day did not interfere with the artistic rights of the film makers, despite many sections of the society feeling hurt by its portrayal of their faith. Much after the movie had runs its course, you offered a reluctant apology for hurting the sentiments of people, but that was after the movie grossed a whopping INR 7 billion.
And when your fellow actor Salman Khan was convicted by a court for homicide, which involved killing poor people lying on the pavement, you never spoke a word against drunken driving; instead, you went, hugged him and expressed your solidarity for the convicted Salman Khan.
And yes, there is growing intolerance in India. On March 13th, a 71 year old nun was raped in a Church in Kolkatta, by a Bangladeshi immigrant Mohammad Salim Sheik, with the help of his other Bangladeshi friends. 4 youth from the suburbs of Kalyan joined the ISIS, and many from West Bengal and a few other states are likely to join the Islamic State. 37 year old Afsha Jabeen was arrested by the Telangana police, for recruiting youth in India to join ISIS. And do you know what Arif Fayaz and Fahad Shaikh, two misguided Indian youth who left India to join ISIS told their families? They said 'I do not want to live in this sinful country.’ Now does that sound familiar?
No matter who we are, we should never forget that this nation gives us more than what we give back to it. And to carry forward our personal agenda, such as promoting our next movie, we should never be in news by pulling down the nation. And everything in life is not about a Deal, that you can Snap it whenever it doesn't serve your vested commercial interests.
Satyameva Jayate,
PK

Regarding Kamala Hassan's Viswaroopam, he did carry out all the cuts demanded by the minority outfits.
True to his Indian thinker/writer/intellectual credentials Kamal allowed the most sacred Gayathri mantra to be mimed by a dumb comedy character in a movie. And his friend from minority community Nasser did that act with enthusiasm. The movie was well received and did well in the box office.
As majority community, what more do we have to "tolerate" to show our secular credentials?
When Paris gets bombed, there is immediate retaliation from France, bombing and launching misslies at very far away Syria. But when 26/11 was enacted by our next door neighbor on the streets of Mumbai, we are asked to look for 'political' solutions, more people to people contact, more Gazal concerts and more cricket matches.
Our ability to tolerate insult, humiliation and injustice is unfathomable. But on top of all this is this sermonising from people like AK or SRK.
