I'll throw in my two naya paisa.
I think there is an internecine war going on within the BJP.
Jaitley, Swaraj et al. are part of the old power base in BJP. They were included in the power structure initially to keep the peace during the Lok Sabha election and immediately thereafter.
However, being the deadwood that they are, they are slowly being replaced. Hence these hits against them. Looks like Jaitley maybe targeted as well. I thought he was the globalists' representative in BJP . He and Raghuram Rajan might be targeted next, if we were to go by the noises being made by some in BJP rebel faction.
I found it really odd that Jaitley was given two very important portfolios. Maybe it was an indirect way of keeping these portfolios directly under PMO. Not sure if Modi likes or hates Jaitley. Is he being compelled to hold on to him? As always, politics can hazy and confusing.
Never expected too much out of BJP in terms of immediately solving the corruption problem in India. However, there should have been a lot of progress made in fostering an environment for discouraging corruption within the system, even if it was gradual.
Very little has been done to discourage corruption at govt offices. No carrot and stick policy has been pursued. No vision displayed so far.
There were successes too, but its impact will be felt in the long run. By bringing in vast sections of population of India within the banking system, it will allow govt to directly transfer funds and other instruments to these people, rather than going through a cumbersome/corrupt bureaucracy. Then again, be careful what you wish for. These things can have unintended consequences.
Bringing back the black money is a no-go. At least for now. I never expected it to be easy ( can't believe people's expectations ). The BJP promised to solve it within an year? Well yeah, politicians always make promises and there is one born every minute to believe in them.
Regarding AAP, I was rather surprised when they came back so strong. But their stint in the office has not surprised me so far. As expected, absolute buffoons. Kejriwal and AAP are like Bhasmalochana in the Ramayan. This asura had to cover his eyes all the time as he would burn anything he laid his eyes on.
The AAP asuras seem to be the same. Keeping true to their anarchist background, they just slash and burn everything they lay their eyes on. That being said, I find Indian press jokers to be blatantly partisan and bizarre in their behaviour towards covering AAP. Complete sellouts to the corporate interests. No surprises there.
Overall, D-minus for the BJP so far. C+ was/is my expectation, anything over it can be considered a bonus(almost impossible in Indian context).
As expected, AAP gets the dunce cap and has to sit in the corner.

You are wrong ramar. First time in history of Indian politics, a minister is arrested in three month of work tenure and all investigation is completed within two months.it is some kind of achievement. Well it is different story that law is applicable to AAP only. And other parties can do whatever they want. Investigation takes years to complete on criminals, scamsters etc etc and forget about sending them to jail. Just wait and watch, lot more to come in Delhi and AAP.

Wonder why the Modi bhakts are so silent ?
Or maybe they don't have any answers

More than Raje, Sushma should be sacked first. She by-passed Foreign Secretary, Officers down below in her ministry and the Indian High Commission in London and kept them in the dark to do good to a person who cares little for the summons of ED.
Receiving summons from IT or ED may not mean the person is an offender. But not appearing in person as demanded is certainly offence according to Chartered Accountant and reputed panelist Mr.Venkatesh. Such person becomes fugitive and helping such person to roam about without appearing before IT or ED by one of the highest offices i.e., Minister for External Affairs is disrespect of GoI and Constitution. Calls for her immediate dismissal.
