NaMu is not speaking about taxes on fuel prices. Never will. He is only speaking about the crumbs he has to part with from the billions he has made.

Infallible, great or otherwise, these "aam aadmi" make probably the remaining of the minuscule % which NaMu and such others are. But for this majority, what is democracy if even basic necessities like drinking water, good roads or "aadmi"class public transportation are denied.

Do you know how much power do they have being in majority? Yes, they can very well take some, if not all steps in an year. Doesn't take much to pass some laws to curb corruption at the common man's level. For a commoner, the only bone of contention is the very corrupt practices while dealing with Govt. officials on a daily basis.
If not, then on what basis does the new majority Govt. boasts to be better than Congis? Brothers in arms, eh!

FP, you sound like a hardcore Congress follower/spokesperson.
You are expecting Modi ji to pass laws to curb corruption just after a year, while during the many years of Congress rule, no one raised the point. I wonder why? Is this because with Congress everyone knew this wouldn't happen as they couldn't get majority? Or common man thinks that with UPA rule, "chalta hai" attitude is the norm? I find this very unfair.
I respect Manmohan Singh ji, but his last tenure as PM wasn't very fruitful to the perople of India.
Me think - we should give Modi ji at least two terms to make any meaningful change in corruption level in India. Modi ji seem to be trying to make things work. At least I havent seen any major corruption in the party level/ central govt level.
I don't have any deep knowledge of Indian politics, so if I offended someone, please pardon me. Its just that today is Friday and had some free time.
