While I appreciate your support, u should watch Indian channels where seculars have a field day and they indirectly say that Charlie deserved the death! Google moron Javed Akhtar and Anand Patwardhan. They used the "opportunity" to denigrate Hindu over MFH! Lol! Their imagination stretches far and wild. He is the only one who can stop this country becoming another Islqmic Republic. Both Liberal and NDP are are mirror of our Congress I. They will pander to anybody to get elected.
Incidentally CBC English is not showing any cartoons while the very same CBC French is going to town with the Cartoons. Your and mine Tax dollars pays for CBC.

Incidentally the guy who reposted the cartoon in India has been charged while the UP ex MLA who promised 51 Crores and our own Mad Cow Disease & Foot in the mouth diseased person and Lahore born Mr.Iyer has blamed the west for Charlie which includes Canada. Hope Canadian government considers this when he wants to travel to Canada.

I think I am one of the guys who on CD site advocated for Harper last time.
However, I am certainly not voting for Harper. Rather campaigning against him. My reasons are different. Harper is against Ontario and all in favor of Alberta. I have heard very sinister rumor that Harper has convinced big 6 banks to move to Alberta. If that happens, Toronto and hence Ontario will be finished forever. I understand that TD has moved lots of officers in Alberta and shifted significant operations in a swanky new building. I might be wrong. Check facts. Harper is as divisive as one can get. This time I will vote against Harper as my job and future is tied to Toronto and Ontario.

After the Charlie Hebdo attack, i have been watching the reactions of the political parties in Canada. Stephen Harper is the only guy who has spoken strongly and consistently against Terrorism.

Liberals and the rest are making tiny, whiny, gurgling noises. I will continue voting for the conservatives simply for this reason alone.

But Guys like Harper may not make much of the difference as this world is filled with selfish cowards and cry babies.
The menace of prophets is eating up the mankind while mankind is continuing to promote prophet-ism and will succeed in doing so, they are prophets after all.

We all have different perspectives. I understand and respect your choice. That said, I do not think making noises against terrorism is going to help much. You would have observed that two terrorists who were killed were White Canadian converts and two more caught recently in Ottawa also seem to be White Canadian converts. If you Google, you will find that a few of Canadians who went abroad to fight for ISIS are also White Canadian converts. While Harper can, to an extent, prevent refugees from coming in, he cannot prevent students and other immigrants from coming in. Not only that, there is nothing much he can do or will do to stop radical ideas being spread in congregations. Just look at Tarek Fatah books and video. He has very nicely explained the causes. The reality is that appeasement is resorted by all the political parties. Some make noises of right kind – like Harper does. Of course, it is smart thing and I acknowledge that. Modi did the same. However, Modi also did not ACT. The reason is that the large section of populace is liberal. Any tough act would be rejected and result in loss of votes.
I am a labourer and my motivation is entirely different. I strongly believe that Harper is partisan and has done his best to fuck Ontario. Be it budget allocation or economic policies, he has favoured Alberta as it delivers 100% seats to him. It is just sheer good luck that Oil prices have slided, Canadian dollar weakened that Ontario has a chance to bounce back. I hope the sinister move of banks moving to Alberta would not happen now else Toronto and hence Ontario would be bankrupt.
As I said, I respect your choice and motivation. I will vote Liberal or NDP depending who is most likely to win in my riding.
