How can the judge be prejudiced? He just upheld the law. Don’t compare others to JJ. When she was drawing Rs. 1 as her salary, from where these things came? Thousands of diamonds and gold? Who gave it to her? Don’t tell me that her supporters gave it to her.
What I am puzzled is that even the educated support her, her antics and her corrupt practices. May be out of fear? Probably.

JJ is very bad.
No one can forget her foster son's marriage in which she went to Baalu jewellers and took gold (for free) for the wedding. The owner died of shock soon after.
There was an article in rediffmail that JJ's lady friend used to go around Chennai looking for the finest homes and make a small offer for the house. So a 1 crore house is sold to JJ or her benami's for 5 lakhs in paper. People say that in the first years of her being in power, people stopped building luxury houses in Chennai for the fear of it beng taken over by JJ and her group.
So this is how she made 50 lakhs into 60 crores. No rocket science.
I was surprised by my dear friend Ramar, coming out in support of JJ. DMK chief KK is no better. He is a worse thief than JJ but he covers his tracks well. He still stays in a mangalore tiled house (but with 5 * facilities) and does not flaunt his wealth. TN is almost bankrupt by these 2 people but then we have a sizable number of MP's and hence centre will come to our aid any day.

TN is a very well developed state.
Mr. KK brought in bridges to Chennai in 1990's and then JJ brought all automobile and electronic and IT companies to Chennai. Thus TN has become a very good industrialized state (though Chennai is responsible for 70% of it).
If only TN was ruled by a honest man / woman (like Modi), it would have become one of the model states of the country. However, these 2 parties have swindled TN and made TN people a laughing stock.
This will keep on going in the near future.

If to this long and shameful list were added the innumerable homes of celebrities and real estate forcibly acquired from their owners under threat of death and ruination, four years imprisonment seems grossly inadequate although given her age and the cut throat nature of Tamil Nadu political parties, evicting Jayalalithaa for ten years from electoral politics is just desserts.

Even when JJ's opponents were routed in the assembly and 2014 elections, they were taking solace about the DA case in Bangalore.
As of today, JJ wants to emulate Modi and Gujarat and make TN better than Gujarat. She sincerely believes it is possible.
JJ's past deeds have caught up with her and she has to suffer for associating with the wrong people. Both Congress (ruling Karnataka) and DMK (who filed this case) not being able to defeat her in elections because of their own misdeeds are naturally taking advantage and make her more miserable.

She was the WRONG person herself too, its not just about her associating with wrong people. She was fully aware of what was going on and was an active party to it as it benefited her immensely.
JJ wants TN to be better than Gujarat ?? For that first she has to be like Modi, only then it wil be possible.
That's never going to happen as she is never going to be uncorrupt like Modi .
Do you think she was ever going to give up her ill gotten wealth and crores of jewellery, real estate etc on her own and pay for all the murders, hooliganism, goondagiri, threats , reign of terror for which she was directly or indirectly responsible on her own ? NO . The court & people forced her to do that.
She was in power & politics for 20 + years , she had plenty of opportunities to make TN like Gujarat, but the only thing she did was to benefit herself & her cronies & not the people of TN.
Not saying DMK or Congress are any better, but JJ was the worst of the lot. DMK's & Congress's day is also going to come sooner or later.
