Though it is halftway through - let me start discussion on it
Under $8 20.2%
$40 and more 17.9%
$10 and more, less than $15 16.7%
$15 and more, less than $20 16.7%
$20 and more, less than $40 15.5%
$8 and more, less than $10 13.1%
The top most is Under $8, as I expected. What I did not expected was the category $40 or more!
Positive Side:
It seems that about 20 percent people (immirants) are sucessfully entering into the dream position considering Canada's average family income is about $40,000 a year! As a rough calculation if you earn $40 per hour your yearly salary would be 40 * 40 * 52 = 83,200. That is too big amount!
And also add people earning more than $20 - they are also earning good amount of money - they are also 15 percent.
So there are 35 perecent immigrants getting good salary. I don't know after what time of their coming in Canada they have achieve their position - my next poll will be on that one
Negative Side:
There are 20 percent people working at bar minimum wages - considering the cost of rent, car, insurance and leaving expenses - eventhough both husband-wife works it is difficult to meet ends! Also add 13 percent people between the range of $8 to $10 - they are also in the same situation. So there are amount 35 percent people living almost on the poverty line
The rest are 35 pecent - in the slab of $10 to $20 are not doing bad, but as they have come out from the initial barrier of 8$ per month, they are on growth path and I am sure they will reach the elite class soon.
ONE MAJOR CONSIDERATION in above figures. Remember this poll is online and only people having computer access will have ansewered. Natually people with higher income will have more computer access - so I am thinking that the people earning around $8 should be munc more in proportion than we got here!
