ramar2005,
How can any Govt. of the day go after those very powerful guys that funded their election campaign? This applies to all Parties in India. So, you have absolutely no hope. One has to take care of their own self and shouldn't depend upon the Govt. to do the job. I guess, this is the reason why many immigrate to the West despite loving their roots, culture, friends, and families. It's a bitter pill. Many of us don't want to try and spend their time in a fruitless exercise to mend Govt.'s and Bureaucracies' ways. Elections are just as farce. Words, such as 'ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country' don't matter much for an 'aam aadmi' that has to go through a spate of corrupt practices in each sphere of their life and don't have ways to change all this in his/her lifetime. The only feasible thing is to get a fine education and take charge of your own as well as family's life.
Throw a good orator to the 'aam aadmi' and they call it a change. Obama and Modi, both fall in the same bracket. Capitalists and the big guys with huge inventory of bucks are the real Govt.
Show me a politician that can bring back black money, and I'll show you a pig that flies.
I am not a cynic, but realist.
You guys know nothing of the ground realities.
Congress is just finished allover. All their mens are quitting their party & joining BJP.
Congress is on a terminal decline, only to get buried deep underground in the pages of Indian history..

DELHI INDIAN
It's only 100 days. Things will change in the years to come. Modi got Japan to invest about 2 lakh crores in India. In fact Japan is funding the Metro rail in Bangalore (unfortunately the Indian agency that is handling the project is slow in executing the work). Modi need to look into judicial and police reforms. Then only things will improve in the country.
