Dear seenimesh, thanks for useful info, truly appreciate your input. Looking at my case do you think that I have established required residential ties with Canada after which it becomes obligatory for me to file tax, I guess not. Just a 15 days short landing and came back. Because what I have understood from the link you provided, I need to establish enough residential ties with Canada to be able to file tax or claim any benefits, which apparently I haven't yet ! Please correct me if I am wrong and suggest if I should still go ahead with filing my tax online right now.

You are correct. I was under impression that you came with family and you left alone.

You don't have Significant residential ties (dwelling, spouse and dependants).

If you read the entire link, the op will be considered to have ties to Canada.

OP, Do you have a SIN card, D/L, health Card or any other form of Canadian ID? Do you intend to return to Canada in the near future, or do you intend to permanently sever all ties with Canada?

Ask yourself these questions and then read the details in the link provided by seenimesh

However, as mentioned by TK, do not apply for GST or CTB. Almost a given, you'd have to repay them

TK, as an FYI, it's still a GST (not HST) rebate. Although Ontario moved to HST a few years ago, but the rebate comes from the Feds, and is a GST rebate not HST

Hasni,

Electronic filing is now open for new immigrants.

However, given to your situation, you are not entitled for any kind of benefits.

Do not file a false return. You might need to pay back all the benefits you would get by filing a false return. Being a Canadian tax filer you need to declare not only world income but foreign assets worth over CAD $100,000.

If you wish to make Canada your home for good, please make sure you do not bring Indian vises here. leave them there and contribute positively to make this beautiful country more beautiful and a better place for yourself and your family.

Dear Sudesingh, yes I do have SIN card, G1 learner's license but no health card, and yes I intend to move to Canada for goods in near future.
I have got another question linked to the topic, am I entitled to get all the GST / HST back as far as I fall under low income category and continue receiving child care benefits. Please suggest if my understating is correct ! I am talking about that 13 % tax in Ontario which is charged on each item that we purchase. Thanks

Hasni,
you are wrong in your understanding. you will need to pay 13 % HST on all products (with exceptions on vegetables/ other items as specified) and you will not get any refund.
however if you fall under a low income catagory, then the Govt. will give you a fixed credit to offset some of the costs associated with HST. This is known as the GST credit and you may get $ 300 or a little bit more, every 3 months from the Govt.. When compared with your income in the Gulf and expenses in Canada, this is peanuts to you.
Since you are outside Canada, you will get nothing. However, if you file tax return, you MAY get resident time in Canada, which will be useful for getting OAS/CPP , while being outside Canada. These have time limits like 20 years residence and 10 year residence. You MAY get your residency fulfilled earlier.
Seniors to comment.

TK, has provided some details (above).

Since you're not inside the country you are not entitled to GST, CTB, WITB or Trillium benefit. If you apply for these, you may be asked to repay them in the future.

The maximum amount of GST credit is $67 / quarter
