Why should the President of India make political statements ?.. It is unconstitutional as a President is a dummy , a show piece in Indian form of Government . The real power is in the hands of the elected political parties.
He has never made any statements regarding the lawlessness and rapes in the country which make International news but has obviously come forward to attack political parties who are opposing it strongly.
Pranab Mukherjee has been an ex Cong stooge and continues to be so !! Congress very smartly voted him to be the President to quell his PM ambitions which are saved for dear Pappu !!

Fido.
Mr. Mukherjee needs to understand that President of India got to speak on not many ocasions and that is the only window he has to earn respect and be remembered on positive note. He already muckep up one.

The AAP logic is very simple. Anyone supporting them are good, anyone opposing them are bad. Number of examples - Judge, Doctors, Police, Journalists, and now the President.
Today one just need to join the AAP to get character certificate.
