Delhi has been accorded a status of state but Delhi Police continues to be under Home Ministry .. which is a unique situation .

When law & order breaks , people blame the Govt but the Govt is helpless because the Police does not come under it or follow its directives .

This came up in the brutal rape case last years when there were huge protests and spats between Shiela Dixit and Delhi Police Commissioner supported by Congress' Home Minister SK Shinde ..

It can be an alarming situation when both the bodies ( the Govt and the Police) are controlled by 2 different political parties aiming at under mine one another .

It makes sense to bring Delhi Police under Delhi Govt. as is a norm. They do and can have other Federal Centre forces like CBI etc.

The big question is are they under any body? Police or rather armed forces if given freedom, run amuck and indulge in excesses. We are all aware that especially police forces in India and specifically in Delhi do not do any policing job rather their role is to collect money on every day basis and feed in to their system which possibly could go up to HM. Although we have all known that Thanas have been for sale from time immemorial but it is the first time the fingers have been pointed out to the HM of India.
Delhi police has been strategically used by the Congress govt. to control other parties and their protests. Be it Ramdev, Anna or any other protest worth mentioning. We will soon see that the earlier Police Comm of Delhi will get a plum posting some where.
It is also surprising to see that these officers near their retirement, having earned millions of rupees and reached the zenith of their career are not willing to resign on moral grounds, forget about dereliction of duty. There is no fear in them that an action can result if they do not do their job. And that is why they want to provide security to Kejriwal so that they can run and do what ever they want.
Imagine a situation like what is happening in Delhi, the only course left to us is Satyagraha and that is what Kejriwal is doing. Look the whole country and all the party leaders are not even sympathetic that a woman was raped and rather defending the police officers. Really shameful and pathetic.

Unless these officers can be suspended on the spot, there will be no safety in Delhi.

This guy named Arvind Kejriwal is causing serious nightmares to many CD’s or maybe they are paid trolls. Seems like they know more about AK than their own parents or children. The thread was about Delhi Police and to whom it should be answerable but you don’t want to leave any thread without beating AK. Why don’t you make AK responsible for this cold wave in Canada?

I also wonder why some internet trolls get so annoyed with anything AK does, is it because he stand against another elusive puppet.
If you open TOI, against any news that cast AK, there are at least 20-30 harsh comments from folks who goes on with a huge tirade and then beg to caste vote for their party. The technique they use is to occupy for 30-40 comments, so you give up what others have to say.

So cheap and sleazy these mobs are.. What to say ? After all going with many theories, AK is after all a CM of a small territory and he doesn't have enough muscle or team to spread his wings through out India, possibly few Metros, most of us know he wouldn't cause much dent to other parties then why this relentless venom spewing.

In Tamil, we say "Kudukkura Kasukku kolachuthan aganum".... some one will translate for you for sure..
