Revitalising the old thread which was made with good intention. The other thread was made with different mindset which has title proven wrong and not subscribed by delhi people anymore...

News Update :
Since Congis and BJs were pushing AAP to make Govt. to the extent that Congis agreed to give 'unconditional' support and BJ.lol. P wants to give 'constructive' support. lol, Kejriwal on behalf of delhi janta has agreed to play to their hands BUT have written to Sonia and Rajnath to answer the bunch of issues in delhi transparently and publically, so that issue based govt can be formed.

lol... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ilaryu1iCU

Some of 'traditional' people on this forum who are stuck in history of politics should learn a bit from this event... 10 more days of grind for the old parties. pehley kya kum thhtaaa !!

This is a masterstroke both Congress/BJP are in a bind now.

let us see what sonia mata and baba rajnath ji says on these issues.

I'd like to see AAP forming govt in a few days in delhi and call bongress ( as some call BJP/CONGRESS ) bluff.

So why prefer Modi at center? He has a proven track record in a major state in India and can replicate, to a certain extent, that success at national level.

And why have AAP in Delhi? Since a lot of people seem to trust him, let him prove his mettle in Delhi(state) first, then he can come to federal level.

Don't get me wrong, I don't trust Modi too. He is a corporate shill and is sold out as well(He's the guy who is trying to sneak in Wal Mart into India through backdoor). However among the existing politicians he is less corrupt and certainly a better administrator.

In military, sometimes effectiveness is chosen over efficiency. Meaning there are built in inefficiencies that can be overlooked for the sake of results(effectiveness).

Same thing with national governance for a large country like India. There are vast inefficiencies(corruption, waste, lethargy) built into the system. However, we are now almost a banana republic in terms of effectiveness(results).

We need reforms geared towards both efficiency(less corrunption) and effectiveness(better outcome) in India, as they reinforce each other. Inefficiency(especially corruption) has spread like cancer in India and needs to be brought under control and put into remission.

I believe Kejriwal is fighting on the issue of efficiency by focusing on prevalent corruption and accountability, or lack of it. However, he has neither the vision nor the experience to run a country and to pull off the effectiveness(results) part. Modi can balance the two better.

If Kejriwal were an Admiral, he would probably run a tight ship(assuming he is all that people say he is). Good procurement policy, good rations for the mess, clearer procedures and paper trail, more accountable logistics etc.

However, if a PLAN fleet showed up at our doorstep in the Andamans, Kejriwal would be clueless and defecate in his langotia.

OTOH, Modi's langotia would stay clean under such circumstances. At least he has the knack in delegating to the right people under such circumstances as any good leader is wont to do.

Very valid line of thought and quite a meaningful post .... Modi @ the centre and AAP in Delhi .... Next 5 years could be a churning time for India & Indian politics.

Better situation will be Modi in Center, AAP in delhi plus as a major opposition to Modi in center. Also AAP's presence in every state politics will bring change.

Lol! You guys have wishful thinking. Read the following. Kejriwal is taking on Modi on his own turf.

Now instead of indulging in wishful thinking, opine as to who would be winner? Khujli or Modi?

I think Khujli would get win close to 100 seats (Previously I thought that approx. 60 seats would go to AAP. However, considering his popularity amongst the idiots (Yuppies under age of 20) and tremendous backing amongst Muslims and Dalits (AAP vanquished BSP), he should get at least 100 seats. I doubt whether he could win big way in Gujarat. Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat have huge number of people from other Provinces and have large number of Muslims too. AAP can easily win 6-8 seats from large cities in Gujarat.

In any case, AAP has made sure that Modi would never be a PM.

It is sheer misfortune of India that a dirty communist/socialist would be a PM of India at a crucial time when India is facing huge financial crisis with CAD equal to revenue!

Also read article written purportedly by Shanti Bhushan, father of Prashant Bhushan (main investor of AAP and well known Blackmailer lawyer) which was published in India Today but later on recanted. It makes interesting read and contains strategy of AAP to deal body blow to Modi and BJP.
