Sonia Gandhi's determination to help poor people and her empathy towards poor people emanating from her Christianity and beliefs prevailed and after 66 long years India has now national food security bill. It is a landmark bill which will eradicate hunger. In 5,000 years of Indian civilization, no king or politician could do what Sonia accomplished. This tremendous and unprecedented achievement is result of Sonia's love for poor people rooted into empathy towards downtrodden which is essence of Christianity.
Our congratulations to Sonia.
Yesterday she was hospitalized and I was praying that she should not come back alive . Sorry about that but I can't wish better than that for India . Any how my pray was rejected and she is back to f**k the country . Congress made the indian a begger . Instead of providing job opportunities they offer free meal . As I said earlier that Indian voters deserve congress rule so sure congi will come back to power and that " mand buddhi " child raahul will be next PM . And barkha, arnab , pranav roy etc. etc... will be backing him.
Food security bill, One of the disastrous steps which has been taken under corrupt congress govt. what economics it is ? let me assure, the main objective behind the food security bill is to prolong the poverty and prolong the begging. the crap policies of congress have been generating the poverty in India since independence .
Its not just scams and corruption i am worried about, what bothers me is how the govt. is using the country to stay in power....Food Security Bill - the worst we can do....Even God cant save us now..but for votes, they will sell the future of the country too...
Time will tell if the food security bill is a good bill for India.
As with anything, loop holes must be plugged and distribution must be optimized.
In India, everyone wants the poor to be fed properly (incl. me though I am not an Indian).
It is very funny for me when people on TV say that since the economy is down / Rupee in a free fall, we should not empty the exchequer. But hey, there are so many poor people around. I personally favour power, petrol, LPG to be hiked exhobirantly and taxes imposed so that the poor are fed properly.
Agree that this will make some people lethargic but then if some one is fed properly, his mind will be better to think of some productive thing.
People say that this food bill will only equal something that TN, Jharkand, Rajasthan is already doing and even in TN, I am seeing a lot of families living under bridges etc...
Time will tell. I support any bill that feeds the poor even if we feed just 50% of the poor for 100% of the cost,
Peace by Murali

Compassion and empathy for the poor is OK. But do we need to tie a religious tag around the same?
She allowed Quottarochi to get away and her government defreezed his bank accounts in UK . Should we tie religious tag for the same.
During the 2009 elections her party PM MMS said he would bring back the money stashed in tax havens in 100 days. They did precious nothing. Nor did they do anything for the poor during last 9 years of the rule.
On the year before the elections they have remembered the poor for the sake of their votes. If the UPA still want to go with the corporates they may get only their few hundred votes in each constituency
During the last 4 years, they have given exemptions to the corporates to the tune of 25 lakh crores. The corporate big wigs have only used the money to get into the Forbes List and buy cricket players for millions of dollars and do betting in the IPL matches. They have done nothing to provide employment or improve the economy.
As the saying goes, you are not punished for your sins, but by the sins themselves.
Now the same corporates with whom MMS, Chidambaram and Montek brushed shoulders come on TV or through their mouthpieces criticize and curse MMS and his government for the Food Bill as if that was the cause for all the woes.
Now we can expect the corporates to hitch their bandwagon to Narendra Modi and BJP to improve their fortunes.
Worse still they try to pull back the hand of the government when it tries to put something on people's begging bowl for the sake of votes. This is most perverse on the part of the corporates having themselves enjoyed lakhs of crores as exemptions.
For all that the Food Bill is a redundant piece, as already PDS is very effective in states like Chattisgarh, Tamil Nadu and many other states. No efforts were made to seek the suggestions or advice from these states where it is already running successfully.
This being the current state of affairs, it is an insult to the religion of Christianity to tie it up with Sonia Gandhi's Food Bill.
Like terrorists, politicians too have no religion. They are politicians first.
