I applied for PIO card on Jan'2nd and I haven't received any update from the CGI Toronto.

I tried to call the numbers on the website but I could not get through to a live agent.

How can I get the status on the PIO application. Please share your experience.

Is there any one know how to check the application status for PIO. I applied it at Toronto and it's been 2 months. When I tried to call them there is no one to take the call. Has any one applied for PIO lately?

My OCI timeline from last year if it helps. PIO should be the same , I guess or maybe even faster than OCI.

Went and collected them on the same day , as I was in that area . everything was OK ..the lifetime U-Visa sticker on my Canadian PP and the OCI booklet

Surprisingly the process was smooth and transparent, and within the timeline. Gotta give credit , where credit is due , India seems to be improving in this regard.

Except for the red tape like making 4 trips to get my OCI , everything else was normal.
