Hi,
I am looking for someone who already submitted his/her experience(Engineering record) to PEO for P.Eng.
I will appreciate if someone can share their experience with me specially in Electrical field.
Thanks.
Did you get your file no after submitting your initial application for PEng? If yes then PEO must have sent you a detail description explaining how to describe your Engineering experience record in your resume. Any way describe how you have used electrical engineering principles in practical at every job in detail with some specific projects examples. Best of luck.
Thanks for your response. I have written my experience but looking for someone who can review and guide me through to ensure that it should be acceptable without any further delay. I will appreciate, if you can share your information and will be happy to discuss in more detail.
Hi missoncadelin,
You are not alone with not knowing what to do or submit with your PEO Engineering Experience Record (EER). The Guide on the PEO website leaves it open to interpretation about how to:
- format your EER
- the length of your EER
- who will review my EER?
- how long will it take to hear about my application?
- if I get called for an interview, what can I expect?
I've worked with dozens of engineerings in Ontario to help them make sense of their application and answer the questions above. Perhaps you've already received your P.Eng. and don't require any help; if not feel free to reach me at my website below.
Best of luck with your application.
Gavin Simone, P.Eng.
