I have a hp laptop and I use the wifi internet from my landlord.

I bought a samsung printer, presently I connect it to my laptop with USB cable. This printer is wifi enabled. Do I need to buy a router to wirelessly connect this printer to my laptop?? and finally how do i connect it to my laptop?

I am planning to buy a point-n-shoot cannon camera with Wifi. How will I wirelessely connect that camera to my laptop and printer??

Pls explain in detail as I could not find this from google.

Thanks.

SAMSUNG ML 2955 DW is a good Printer, you are now connected to it with the help of the cable. So it is hard wired.

When you load the software that came with the Printer and when the Laptop is within a short range, it will work as a wireless unit. How far you can go away depends upon the wireless reception in your home and how powerful the lap top transmits and communicates with the printer. It will be a trial and error operation.

When you are loading the software, it will ask you if you want that printer to be your 'default printer'. If it does, then say YES. That way they lock with each other wirelessly too.

You are smart enough and you have connected them already.

For Cameras, like the one you are thinking to buy, a Cannon, is a good choice. It also comes with a download cable that you can use to transfer your pictures into the LAPTOP and store it in its Hard Drive and see it as picture on full screen, frame at a time, (Picture at a time ) or as a slide show with a time delay.

It comes with A Battery Pack,Charger for..,Lens cap, a Neck Strap, USB Interface Cable, a CPU and a CD Rom. Plus a 1 Yr Warranty.

The High End Cameras cost a lot and they are EOS Cameras and comes with body only. You have to decide upon the lens. It also depends upon the usage. Some of them provide you 25 frames per second. It takes action shots like you have never seen before.

They start from this level. Any pictures that you take will look very professional.

There is a WIFI Camera called ELPH it is a good buy too. It is difficult to explain the functions of these cameras, unless you have them in your hand. I have used a few high end cameras. But the technology is changing so fast and the software that comes with these cameras are refreshed so often, all of the cameras that are on the market this year will become history the very next year. I will provide you with a few links here under this.

Click on EACH pictures and view through the collection. You will find them fascinating. Some of the cameras are about $3000 in price.

Make a wish list and keep it. See when you will get to own one. Until such time work with in your BUDGET. Also remember, the Camera that you bought today will be worth very little the next year.
