Hi,

Further to my search, I found nscc (Nova Scotia Community College) in Truro, NS conducting Animation course. The information on nscc site was detailed and I like the curriculum of the course.

Can anyone advice me about the quality of the 2yr Animation Program at nscc, Truro? The things which I want information on are:
a) Quality of faculty
b) Class size
c) Job placements

Thanks

Also there is this Dalhousie University there in N.S. that runs a similar course in Computer sciences. You can explore that location throiugh this link.

http://www.dal.ca/

The course is listed as : DALHOUSIE : 2110.03: Computer Science III.

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to data structures and algorithms, including their design, analysis, and implementation. In discussing design and analysis there is a strong emphasis on abstraction. In discussing implementation, general approaches that are applicable in a wide range of procedural programming language are emphasized, in addition to a focus on the details of implementations. Topics include an introduction to asymptotic analysis and a review of basic data structures (stacks, queues, lists, vectors), trees, priority queues, dictionaries, hashing, search trees, sorting (MergeSort, QuickSort, RadixSort) and sets, and graphs (traversals, spanning trees, shortest paths).

PREREQUISITES: CSCI : 1101.03

Also here is a compendium of all of the Animation Courses offered all over Canada. Choose a nearest location and meet with the Carrer councillor there. Also see if they can co-ordinate the satudies there with them with the hope of a suitable placement through them, after the completion of the course. If they have none, then, move on to another one and find out who will provide you with the vocational guidance that you seek here with the CD website.

GOOD LUCK.
