In the latest development though not as important as SRK beating up Farah Khan spouse, the SC has pulled up the PMO for sitting on Swamy's plea for prosecuting Raja (from as early as Nov 2008) and replying casually 6 months later that there was no need as the CBI was already investigating the matter. Justices Singhvi and Ganguly in concurrent judgements have ruled that if the sanction does not come within 3 months (4 months in the case of Govt's consulting the Attorney General), it would be deemed to have been granted.
The Hindu in their editorial and other national newsmedia hail this as a great step forward in prosecuting all corrupt netas and babus shielded by the government.
What Ramdev, Anna Hazare, Kejriwal and others have been battling for empowering the common man for the last several months, the learned judges have achieved with a single stroke of their signatures.
True Pen is mightier than sword.
But as usual, the UPA government is gloating under the SC absolving the PM, and only indicting his Office. Even a 10th standard fail will say that the PM Office staff have been made sacrificial goats.
Swamy rubbing salt into the Congress Government wounds says that Kapil Sibal and Salman Kurshid should be sent back to law school to do some more learning. Again and again we are reminded of Bharathi's famous quote to banish fear, only that the word Achcham (Fear) is to be replaced by Vetkam (Shame), to describe the attitude of this Congress government.

Subramanian Swamy who engineered (or is it lawyered!) the cancellation says that
1.Raja is only a junior partner in the scam and did only as per the advice of PC who was the senior partner.
2.60% of the kickbacks or the money made went to Sonia Gandhi and that Swamy will present the evidence only with Supreme Court.
Even though what Raja was doing was wrong, why did everyone including people like MMS, Pranab Mukerjee, Chidhambaram step aside (PMO was advised "to keep at arm's lnegth" from the matter)? Whom did they fear and for what?
In all this Prashant Bushan came out of nowhere and did a press conference early morning when SC had hardly opened its gates. Was it because he wants a share of the credit that Swamy gets in exposing the scam?
Why is Prashant is interested in the loss due to the 2G scam, when he is not bothered about loss of Kashmir from India. Is it because he considers Kashmir less than 1.76 lakh crores?
Honarable Justice Mr. A.K. Ganguly who delivered the historic judgment in the morning retired exactly at 4.00 PM in the evening. For those who were battered must be screaming like Vadivelu in Chandramuki "Maapu, Vechitaya Aapu".
