OCI Sticker and Certificate for New Passport

I was wondering if anyone can help me with the correct information. I have an OCI stamp on my old passport and I also have OCI card. Now I got a new passport with a different lastname as I got married.

Usually it is completely alright to travel to India with the new passport along with the old passport and OCI card. But in my case my new passport has a different last name, so do I need to get a new OCI with a name change or can I still travel with my new passport to India as long as I have my old one and OCI card as well ?

Please help, thank you.

Try to change the name as per official procedure. That would be the best.
But in absence of it, they would still allow you to travel, if you have the old cancelled passport and your marriage certificate (in original or attested by competant authority like counsulate of India etc...). There might be a few small problems, but you can get over it.

All the best.
