Last time when CAD overtook US green back, it was expected to last for long time to come, what is the reason for the green back bouncing back with venegance?
What now is ecpected on this front?

So this actually means that nothing can be trusted.
Gold was expected to reach $ 2000 and then $ 3000 soon. It is now at $ 1669.
In my office a lot of people invested in Gold when it was $ 1800 and now they are sitting with garbage in their hands.
The same was said for the US $. That the US $ was bring printed in trillions and it will be worthless. Now the US $ is strong.
Rupee was said to be invincible when it was US$ 1 = INR 45.5. Now it is INR 49.0.
So it is all a scam. Nothing can be trusted.

People who have invested in gold for at least six months to a year are still in profit though. Only people who have invested in the last couple of months are in loss but then there was about $400 increase per ounce over those 3-4 months.

Only active investor (who sell and buy daily and average out their investments) take the pie !! sitting ducks may or may not be the gainers !
Better to play the game which you know well else there are other venues for the lesser mortals like do or jump regular job or jobs, invest in yourself and run for next promotion cycle etc etc.
instead of gambling with gold and silver , buy a tooney worth lottery ticket every week !... if luck has to strike... it will ... !!!!

Earlier I thought to write similar message on this thread yesterday. For average person, best gold is buying a detach house in good location. And improve one's carrer. In older age, sell the house and move to 2 bed retirement apartments -). Best retirement funds.-----------------------------------------------------------------
