Hi All,
Please let me know ,I had few questions :
1. What are the certifications requirements for the entry in the banking Industry?
2. Which are the Employment agencies to approach ?
3. Does the previous banking experience help in getting the job or one hass to anyways start with the entry level job?
4. How much time frame should be expected for a reasonably Ok candidate to strike the Banking entry job?
Thanks a lot
Seems like lately nobody interested in answering quite a few posts on the Charcha; It looks pretty INACTIVE now
Hi okjahanom
Your query was unanswered because it is very vague.
"Entry level" is very vague....it may mean a Customer Service Representative/Teller or it may mean a Personal Banker...
But not to discourage you...I will try to respond to your queries.
1)An entry level position requires CSC - Canadian Securities Course. Having a CSC gives you an edge compared to the other candidates applying for the job.
2)Manpower in downtown Toronto is one employment agency you could approach due to the proximity of this agency to the head offices of most banks
3) Past experience will definitely help but it again depends on the skills you bring to the job
4) No one can in the right frame of mind can give a reply to this query as all CDs will concur...each situation is different and hence there is no definite answer to your question.
Hope this will help.

Thanks a ton.
I Completed CSC last week only.
I am continuously applying for banking jobs but to no avail.
I don't Know wat it would take to make interview happen.
I have registered with agencies online but no response from them as well
Do I need to go in person to register with them?As I have not been in personally there?
Will it be a good idea to visit the bank branches personally?
Pls. share your thoughts SENIORS!!!
